Basic workforce training that gets results.

Currently co-housed at ETi is the San Diego Regional Workplace Learning Resource Center (WpLRC). Often, in partnership with regional community college contract education and continuing education departments, WpLRC brings cost-effective, professional training and consulting to companies, organizations, governments, and agencies. The San Diego Regional WpLRC is one of 12 CCCEWD initiatives designed to give California companies the knowledge edge, and to make getting that edge affordable.

As part of a network of service providers within the California Community College system's Economic and Workforce Development Program, WpLRC has developed an updated vision which includes an expansion of customized workplace programs. These include IT skills upgrade training, Career Ladders components and an array of organizational consulting services that impact the bottom line of organizations. Program development and instructional delivery focuses on the needs of those non-native English speakers and adults in need of literacy, communication skills and basic skills upgrade. The high cost of professional curriculum development, workforce consulting and training is off-set for our clients because of the State of California’s long-standing commitment to funding California Community College Economic and Workforce Development Initiatives.

Training dollars are available to qualifying California businesses, and we can help you determine eligibility. We even provide online training needs assessment tools to help you determine your exact training needs. No strings attached.

We work in partnership with California’s Employment Training Panel (ETP) to assist in making your employees and your company more productive. ETP provides the funding, we provide the training assessment and development resources, for free. Together, we can help you upgrade your workers' skills by creating a customized training program that meets your company's needs.
